Here comes another shocking news from the sets of Daayan which is aired on &TV and stars Tinaa Dattaa-Mohit Malhotra as the main leads. All is not well between the onscreen couple. Tinaa was spotted crying on sets because allegedly Mohit touched her inappropriately. As per a report in Mid-day, "Not just Tinaa, even the team feels that Mohit goes a little overboard with scenes that require intimacy. In fact, a source confirmed to us that despite several warnings given, Mohit did not bother to pay heed and continued with his behaviour which made Tinaa feel very uncomfortable. She finally broke down the other day because of this.”
Now, the actress has finally opened up on the matter. Speaking to Pinkvilla, she says, "When we shoot a TV show, there are a lot of problems, big / small / ugly. I have raised my issues (related to Mohit) with the production team and they have been very supportive. I am thrilled to work with Balaji after many years. I leave the issues with them to sort. Thanks."
On the contrary, Mohit's reaction to the whole incident was quite shocking. The actor continued to be in denial mode and maintained that he and Tinaa share a good bond and that such things never happened. He mentioned, "She is my good friend and we share a cordial relationship". When asked about intimate scenes in particular, the actor claimed that there have hardly been any intimate scenes shot between them.
